It has been a while since I put something on this blog. Well, things have been good and the Lord is teaching me a lot of things. I really love my job here at Children's Cup. I feel good every time I wake up to go to work. I am really convinced that this is where the Lord wants me to be. Yes, there are times when things do not go as I have planned, but I am learning to accept the Lord’s will. It is good to have plans, but our plans must always be flexible to the Lord.
I have realized that I love people. People are very interesting creatures. We are all uniquely designed by the Lord. One thing I have realized is that people are hurting. People like it when you listen to them and pay attention to them. I believe that this is what ministry is all about- listening to people and letting them know that they are not alone, helping where you can help, and, most importantly, telling them that God loves them in so many ways.
People are God’s creatures and God loves us so dearly, if only we can get that through our thick skulls. God likes to see us all doing well. God wants to cleanse us of all the wickedness that is residing in our hearts. That is why He sent His one and only Son to come and die for us. That is why He sent the Holy Spirit.
Sometimes it is hard to get along with people, but just because they believe differently, they are no less important or less valuable. This is hard because sometimes I think that people should do things my way and no other way. This is a wrong attitude.

It's great to hear about your growth while here at Children's Cup, especially how it's all about the people, and how people want to be listened to and cared for. We need to feel important to somebody, and many people think they are worthless. Oh Lord help us see man in your eyes, with love, compassion, and importance.
