Fear and Respect

I have been meditating on these two words for a while. I have come to realize that there is a big difference between fear and respect. Some people say they respect their spouses, parents, ladies and guys, boys and girls, friends, boy friends and girlfriends, family and bosses while in actual fact they fear them. I am saying this from my own experience.

The only fear we should have is the fear of God. Any other fear is contrary to the will of God and it will definitely take us out of the path that he has intended for us. We must respect other people but we must not fear them. Fear brings a lot of things like deceit and flattery. In the work place and in our homes, there must not be fear of man. It must only be the fear of God and respect.

On the other end we cannot force anyone to respect us. Remember we gave our rights to the Lord when we gave our lives to Him including the right to be respected. We should be very humbled and grateful when people respect us.

Unfortunately its true, we do have angry and unhappy Christians. I always wonder why its like that. God promises us joy, peace and happiness and yet we still have a lot of angry unhappy Christians. He has been given the Platform

It is very painful and upsetting to see how the devil has been given a platform to show what he can do and what he is capable of. He has been given a platform right here in the church. He plainly tells us that he comes in the form of water spirits, witchcraft, snake spirits etc. He proudly manifests himself and our church leaders are happy when it happens. Our church leaders sometimes talk to these demons and play around with the them. Its simply a show. I would recommend that leaders just cast these demons out instead of giving them a platform. We have to understand that the enemy knows that people will not just listen to him so he will make ways to spread his message and he has found a way to spread his message right in front of our eyes in the church. Our church leaders like this because it causes curiosity and brings a lot of people to the church and that equals tithes and offerings. He Protects

Ladies and gentleman, it is true. God does protect His own. If you desire protection from any force that may come against you, God is the answer. He is the one who constantly protects us. If we move ahead of God and never allow Him to surround us, we will definitely miss out on his protection. If you are a child of God I encourage you not to look for protection anywhere else but look for protection from our Father. We are safe under the shadow of His wings. Rest and be at peace knowing that God has got your back.
