Last Blog of the Year 2011

This has been a great year. There were a lot of ups and downs but we made it. This year will always be in my heart because it is the year that Progressive Glory International Church was born and registered. There were a lot of things I had to pass through and learn before finally deciding to plant a Church. God has truly been good.

One thing I have learned is that if God wants you to do something no one can stop it no matter how hard they try. It is true that the Lord sets a table before our enemies. It is also true that we should love our enemies. Bitterness and anger cannot help us accomplish what the Lord wants us to accomplish, it is only when we let go of those who have hurt us and continue to love them that the Lord opens doors and uses us.

Until you realize that you are alone and you will stand before the Lord one day alone, there is not much we can do because we will not have an identity. As long as we are defined by a group of individuals, there is not much we can do. You are an individual and you work hand in hand with people.

N.B I am not talking about arrogance. Arrogance and trying to prove oneself will only lead to you being tired. Its better not to live your life trying to show people who thought you will fail that you are not going to fail. Its not about other people but it about doing the will of God. Don't try to prove to everyone that you are a success because if you are in the will of God you are already successful end of story.

I am expecting a lot of things this coming year. Progressive Glory International Church will rise to new heights and many people are going to grow and realize the capabilities they have been given by the Lord Jesus. I am definitely looking forward to this new year. We will have our first service on the 29th January 2012 you are welcome to visit us.

Angry Unhappy Christians

Unfortunately its true, we do have angry and unhappy Christians. I always wonder why its like that. God promises us joy, peace and happiness and yet we still have a lot of angry unhappy Christians. I believe it’s time we re-evaluate our Christianity. Christianity is not supposed to be a bondage and a burden. It’s supposed to give us life in abundance. , We have a people who are Christians out of duty and not out of a free will and love for God. People are just afraid of going to hell and they are teaching other people fear and bondage instead of love and freedom. Bondage brings hatred, anger and unhappiness. It saddens me to see my brethren suffering and not enjoying Christianity. This week I encourage you to lighten up and stop judging everyone that comes your way. This week I encourage you to let go and let God be . Lets re-evaluate our Christianity, why are we Christians?

He has been given the Platform

It is very painful and upsetting to see how the devil has been given a platform to show what he can do and what he is capable of. He has been given a platform right here in the church. He plainly tells us that he comes in the form of water spirits, witchcraft, snake spirits etc. He proudly manifests himself and our church leaders are happy when it happens. Our church leaders sometimes talk to these demons and play around with the them. Its simply a show. I would recommend that leaders just cast these demons out instead of giving them a platform. We have to understand that the enemy knows that people will not just listen to him so he will make ways to spread his message and he has found a way to spread his message right in front of our eyes in the church. Our church leaders like this because it causes curiosity and brings a lot of people to the church and that equals tithes and offerings. He Protects

Ladies and gentleman, it is true. God does protect His own. If you desire protection from any force that may come against you, God is the answer. He is the one who constantly protects us. If we move ahead of God and never allow Him to surround us, we will definitely miss out on his protection. If you are a child of God I encourage you not to look for protection anywhere else but look for protection from our Father. We are safe under the shadow of His wings. Rest and be at peace knowing that God has got your back.
