Acceptance

The world is full of different people. We are all different from one another. We get along with some people better than others. Sometimes we prefer certain kinds of people over others. We just don't like some characters, because they are just plain irritating. Some people just suck on your life and you never get anything from them. Some people are just too controlling and never give you a space to breath. Some people are just rude, some people are dirty e.t.c the list can go on about certain things we don't like in different individuals.

The problem is that sometimes we don't acknowledged to ourselves that we don't like certain characters. If we don't not acknowledge certain things to God and to ourselves we will not grow. We will remain the same. If you want to be able to accept different kinds of people understand that they are not all the same and there are certain things about them that you may not like, but if you bring it before the Lord and you acknowledge you own feelings about them then you have taken a big step in learning to accept people. Remember if we do not accept their differences its unhealthy for us and our reactions to them will not be Christ like, because of what we truly feel and think about them. we may try to hide our feelings about them but it will eventually show up. Sometimes we just react in rudeness or anger because we just want to push them away.

Remember God wants to use you for great things. He wants to use you to impact a lot of lives and if you are choosy about whom you accept you may loose your inheritance. Lets accept people the way they are and give them the freedom to grow. The freedom to be in contact with God who will then change them accordingly. Be blessed and have a great week

Matthew 11:19 "The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children."

Angry Unhappy Christians

Unfortunately its true, we do have angry and unhappy Christians. I always wonder why its like that. God promises us joy, peace and happiness and yet we still have a lot of angry unhappy Christians. I believe it’s time we re-evaluate our Christianity. Christianity is not supposed to be a bondage and a burden. It’s supposed to give us life in abundance. , We have a people who are Christians out of duty and not out of a free will and love for God. People are just afraid of going to hell and they are teaching other people fear and bondage instead of love and freedom. Bondage brings hatred, anger and unhappiness. It saddens me to see my brethren suffering and not enjoying Christianity. This week I encourage you to lighten up and stop judging everyone that comes your way. This week I encourage you to let go and let God be . Lets re-evaluate our Christianity, why are we Christians?

Overcome Fear

Fear is very cunning. I believe this is an enemy to mankind. We can believe all we want in our minds that we have no fear, however it goes beyond that. Believing in just in your mind is not enough. We have to believe in our heart. Take a moment and trully search your heart. If you have fear about something acknowledged it. If we do not acknowledge our fears we will never be able to overcome and move forward. We can never overcome what we don't acknowledged.

What to do with a dream

Almost everyone has a dream, someday we want to see ourselves somewhere and doing great things. If not then remember God has placed a dream in all of us. God has a plan for everyone. Once you have your dream, what do you do with it? Abraham always wanted a son and one day God gave him a son in his old age. God then asked Abraham to sacrifice Isaac his son, i.e. the very same son that Abraham had to wait several years for. This was the son of Abraham’s dreams and yet God asked Abraham to sacrifice him. I guess it was a difficult decision for Abraham to make but He decided to hand over the child of His dreams to God. This week I want to encourage you not to exalt your dream above God. Let God be first and let your dreams come after God. If we put our dreams before God, we will never know God as Jehovah Jireh (The God who provides). After Abraham put his son (dreams) on the altar, God mentioned that He will bless Abraham because he did not withhold his son from him.
