Being Tried and Tested

I have made a lot of mistakes in my life and most of them have been caused by rushing into things. Don’t get me wrong I am happy and glad that my life turned out the way it did. I am glad that God never gives up on us (people) but continues to train them as long as we do not cut ourselves off. Spiritual matters are not supposed to be rushed into. There are a lot of trials and tests that we have to pass through before we can step into our spiritual calling. People will never really understand God’s path for us, and we as well do not understand the path that God has for us, He reveals it bit by bit because His thoughts and ways are higher than ours. God cannot be mocked and manipulated. God will never bend to our will but we are the ones who are supposed to surrender to His will. Our spiritual backbone is continually strengthened as we pass through different trials. I have come to have a different outlook on trials and tests. Overcome Fear

Fear is very cunning. I believe this is an enemy to mankind. We can believe all we want in our minds that we have no fear, however it goes beyond that. Believing in just in your mind is not enough. We have to believe in our heart. Take a moment and trully search your heart. If you have fear about something acknowledged it. If we do not acknowledge our fears we will never be able to overcome and move forward. We can never overcome what we don't acknowledged.

Led by the Holy Spirit

I need the Holy Spirit to direct each and every move I make, I don't know about you. I have come to realize that going ahead of the Holy Spirit and then asking Him to help is strenuous and unfruitful. It is better when He leads you and then follow. It is my prayer this year 2014 that me and everyone I know should learn to listen to and follow the leadership of the Holy Spirit.There is nothing more to say. Lets just follow the Holy Spirit

Time For Ressurection

Sometimes in life it seems as if everything around us is falling apart. We try different things and nothing seems to be working out. We feel lost in this jungle of life. Sometimes even giving up seems like the best solution. You wonder what people are thinking and you wonder where you will end up. In all this, the truth is Jesus Christ is with us. We need to find comfort and direction in Him because He is the resurrection and the life. He is able to shift gears in your life from reverse to forward. Whatever has been dead in your life I speak resurrection to it. Today you will begin to blossom and wonderful things are going to happen around you. You are going to be fruitful and multiply in every area of your life. This is your time. This is the Word of the Lord to me and I pray that it will touch you too. We have been in the wilderness for a while where God has been trying and testing us and we have come out victorious. I pray the same for you. Never give up on God no matter what

What to do with a dream

Almost everyone has a dream, someday we want to see ourselves somewhere and doing great things. If not then remember God has placed a dream in all of us. God has a plan for everyone. Once you have your dream, what do you do with it? Abraham always wanted a son and one day God gave him a son in his old age. God then asked Abraham to sacrifice Isaac his son, i.e. the very same son that Abraham had to wait several years for. This was the son of Abraham’s dreams and yet God asked Abraham to sacrifice him. I guess it was a difficult decision for Abraham to make but He decided to hand over the child of His dreams to God. This week I want to encourage you not to exalt your dream above God. Let God be first and let your dreams come after God. If we put our dreams before God, we will never know God as Jehovah Jireh (The God who provides). After Abraham put his son (dreams) on the altar, God mentioned that He will bless Abraham because he did not withhold his son from him.

Our Healer

The Lord is our healer and He is able to heal anything not only our physical body but our soul and spirit as well. The only way to get spiritual healing is to be connected to God. After being connected to God in your spirit then the Soul and the Physical being will be able to receive healing. I believe that to a certain extent we have all been emotionally wounded and we need healing in our emotions. If we do not receive emotional healing we become full of resentment and and anger. We view things and people with wounds. The strange thing is that we sometimes hide our wounds. We don't want anyone near our true self. We build up walls. We push other people away and hurt them in order to protect out wounds. If we do not allow God to heal us, we do not grow. A 45 year old person can have emotions and behaviors of a 5 year old. Angry Unhappy Christians

Unfortunately its true, we do have angry and unhappy Christians. I always wonder why its like that. God promises us joy, peace and happiness and yet we still have a lot of angry unhappy Christians. I believe it’s time we re-evaluate our Christianity. Christianity is not supposed to be a bondage and a burden. It’s supposed to give us life in abundance. , We have a people who are Christians out of duty and not out of a free will and love for God. People are just afraid of going to hell and they are teaching other people fear and bondage instead of love and freedom. Bondage brings hatred, anger and unhappiness. It saddens me to see my brethren suffering and not enjoying Christianity. This week I encourage you to lighten up and stop judging everyone that comes your way. This week I encourage you to let go and let God be . Lets re-evaluate our Christianity, why are we Christians?
