Time For Ressurection

Sometimes in life it seems as if everything around us is falling apart. We try different things and nothing seems to be working out. We feel lost in this jungle of life. Sometimes even giving up seems like the best solution. You wonder what people are thinking and you wonder where you will end up. In all this, the truth is Jesus Christ is with us. We need to find comfort and direction in Him because He is the resurrection and the life. He is able to shift gears in your life from reverse to forward. Whatever has been dead in your life I speak resurrection to it. Today you will begin to blossom and wonderful things are going to happen around you. You are going to be fruitful and multiply in every area of your life. This is your time. This is the Word of the Lord to me and I pray that it will touch you too. We have been in the wilderness for a while where God has been trying and testing us and we have come out victorious. I pray the same for you. Never give up on God no matter what

What to do with a dream

Almost everyone has a dream, someday we want to see ourselves somewhere and doing great things. If not then remember God has placed a dream in all of us. God has a plan for everyone. Once you have your dream, what do you do with it? Abraham always wanted a son and one day God gave him a son in his old age. God then asked Abraham to sacrifice Isaac his son, i.e. the very same son that Abraham had to wait several years for. This was the son of Abraham’s dreams and yet God asked Abraham to sacrifice him. I guess it was a difficult decision for Abraham to make but He decided to hand over the child of His dreams to God. This week I want to encourage you not to exalt your dream above God. Let God be first and let your dreams come after God. If we put our dreams before God, we will never know God as Jehovah Jireh (The God who provides). After Abraham put his son (dreams) on the altar, God mentioned that He will bless Abraham because he did not withhold his son from him.

Our Healer

The Lord is our healer and He is able to heal anything not only our physical body but our soul and spirit as well. The only way to get spiritual healing is to be connected to God. After being connected to God in your spirit then the Soul and the Physical being will be able to receive healing. I believe that to a certain extent we have all been emotionally wounded and we need healing in our emotions. If we do not receive emotional healing we become full of resentment and and anger. We view things and people with wounds. The strange thing is that we sometimes hide our wounds. We don't want anyone near our true self. We build up walls. We push other people away and hurt them in order to protect out wounds. If we do not allow God to heal us, we do not grow. A 45 year old person can have emotions and behaviors of a 5 year old. This is not normal. If there has been pain in our past, let us allow God to heal us so that we can grow. Imagine what happens if one does not take a physica

Angry Unhappy Christians

Unfortunately its true, we do have angry and unhappy Christians. I always wonder why its like that. God promises us joy, peace and happiness and yet we still have a lot of angry unhappy Christians. I believe it’s time we re-evaluate our Christianity. Christianity is not supposed to be a bondage and a burden. It’s supposed to give us life in abundance. , We have a people who are Christians out of duty and not out of a free will and love for God. People are just afraid of going to hell and they are teaching other people fear and bondage instead of love and freedom. Bondage brings hatred, anger and unhappiness. It saddens me to see my brethren suffering and not enjoying Christianity. This week I encourage you to lighten up and stop judging everyone that comes your way. This week I encourage you to let go and let God be . Lets re-evaluate our Christianity, why are we Christians?

You can Breakthrough

In this world we usually have a big battle. That huge battle which seems impossible to win. A constant struggle. The battle in fact seems impossible to win. We try over and over to overcome but we usually find ourselves in failure time and time again. Today I want to encourage you to continue fighting, pick yourself up each time you are overtaken. Keep on surrendering to the Lord and you will overcome. Sometimes we are tempted to fight the battle with our own strength but it will always end up in failure. In order to have a lasting victory surrender to the Lord. Deny yourself to the will of God. Sometimes a lot of things will come up that will try to keep you in that position of failure and giving up. Remember God has granted you the ability to be able to overcome, He will not give you a battle or a struggle that you can't win. The first step towards victory is to acknowledged the struggle. If it is something that you know God does not like, just acknowledge it and ask him f

Sanballat and Tobiah

Nehemiah 4:1-3 "But it came to pass, that when Sanballat heard that we builded the wall, he was wroth, and took great indignation, and mocked the Jews. And he spake before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said, What do these feeble Jews? will they fortify themselves? will they sacrifice? will they make an end in a day? will they revive the stones out of the heaps of the rubbish which are burned? Now Tobiah the Ammonite was by him, and he said, Even that which they build, if a fox go up, he shall even break down their stone wall. Sanballat and Tobiah were not happy about the progress that the Israelite were making. They made fun of the Israelites. It is not everyone who will be happy with your life. Its not everyone who will be happy to see you making progress, just like Tobiah and Sanballat. They will despised whatever you are doing and seek to discourage you. This week I encourage you to be careful of Sanballats and Tobiahs in your life. Do not listen to what t

Let Love Lead

1 Corinthians 13:13 "And now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love." Love is a very powerful force. With love nothing is impossible and no battle will be lost.It is important to have love in your life. Face every situation with love. Do your work with love, communicate with love, accept with love A distinction should however be made between true love and false love . False love does not last long and it demands a lot of effort. True love is not by might nor by power. False love will always seek to prove itself. False love does not correct and is not honest. False love is just basically fake. False love changes, it pretends to love. False love is very manipulative. False love looks out only for self, its benefits its self only regardless of how it may look like. This week I encourage you to let True Love Lead. True Love is God. When you allow love to lead you will always have victory, if you have false love lead, you will be tired an

Behold a New Thing

The Lord continually wants to show us new things in our lives. He is not a static God. He wants our lives to improve. He wants us to mature and if we are not careful we miss Him and become stagnant. What is the new thing that God wants to do in your life? Talk to him and find out directly from Him. Do not look at the new things that are happening around you and just join because remember the majority is not always right. If you feel stagnant, make a change, don’t allow yourself to be boxed up, be brave and make that change. After making that change be careful not to move backwards ask God to give you the strength to move forward. The way you used to do things before will definitely try to pull you back. If you think you made a mistake and did not hear God then by all means admit you were wrong and seek God for your next step. Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the d

Way, Truth and Life

John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" The Scriptures are quite clear. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. I have seen so many people who do not have peace in life. I have seen people who are very confused. I have seen people chasing worldly success. I have seen people doing and saying terrible things in order to have worldly success. The people in this world are full of vanity" I am glad the solution found me. I am glad Jesus found me, because without Him all is vain, without Him in our lives there is no peace no matter what you say or believe. Jesus is the only answer, Jesus is the only way, truth and life. Unfortunately some people have been hurt by false Christians and they want nothing to do with Christianity. Unfortunately some people have God a wrong perception of God, But I tell you this, show me a true Christian and I will show you a person filled with peace and stability. Jesus

Choose your battles

In life we are continually faced with different battles and conflicts. If you are someone without a vision you will find that you fight each battle even if it’s not worth it. There are some battles that are worth fighting and some battles are just not worth it. It is so painful to see people wasting time fighting unnecessary battles. This week I encourage you to pick your battles carefully. When you fight a battle look at the long term. Look also at the Word of God. If you fight battles that are not in line with the Word of God, it’s definitely not worth it. What will this battle benefit me in the future? 1 Corinthians 9:26-27 Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.
