DIRECTION

Hello people, I believe that the Lord is continually drawing all of us closer to Himself. It does not matter what we are going through but that is the bottom line. God is always drawing drawing us closer to Himself.

The Lord is not only drawing our pastors closer to Himself but He is drawing all of us. There are times where we find ourselves in a dilema. WHAT DO WE CHOOSE? Times where we have two paths in front of us and both of them good. We can choose either of them and not sin.

This is a time where we have to fall on our face and ask God for direction. There is always God's best. It is a time where he wants us to seek Him cause he wants us close to Him. He is drawing us. Whatever direction the Lord is taking you, take it.

Here are a few points you may want to consider as you pray
  1. Who will benefit from my choice, is it all about me and what I want?
  2. Will my choice bring me closer or further from God?
  3. Are my authorities ok with my choice?
  4. Am I stepping out of the boat?
  5. Does God want me to step out of the boat?
  6. Am I constantly thinking about this or have I put it in the hands of God?

These are only a few questions that you may ask yourself as you pray and remember, PRAY WITHOUT CEASING AND MAKE YOUR REQUEST KNOWN UNTO GOD.

Overcome Fear

Fear is very cunning. I believe this is an enemy to mankind. We can believe all we want in our minds that we have no fear, however it goes beyond that. Believing in just in your mind is not enough. We have to believe in our heart. Take a moment and trully search your heart. If you have fear about something acknowledged it. If we do not acknowledge our fears we will never be able to overcome and move forward. We can never overcome what we don't acknowledged.

Behold a New Thing

The Lord continually wants to show us new things in our lives. He is not a static God. He wants our lives to improve. He wants us to mature and if we are not careful we miss Him and become stagnant. What is the new thing that God wants to do in your life? Talk to him and find out directly from Him. Do not look at the new things that are happening around you and just join because remember the majority is not always right. If you feel stagnant, make a change, don’t allow yourself to be boxed up, be brave and make that change. After making that change be careful not to move backwards ask God to give you the strength to move forward. The way you used to do things before will definitely try to pull you back. If you think you made a mistake and did not hear God then by all means admit you were wrong and seek God for your next step. Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the d...

Angry Unhappy Christians

Unfortunately its true, we do have angry and unhappy Christians. I always wonder why its like that. God promises us joy, peace and happiness and yet we still have a lot of angry unhappy Christians. I believe it’s time we re-evaluate our Christianity. Christianity is not supposed to be a bondage and a burden. It’s supposed to give us life in abundance. , We have a people who are Christians out of duty and not out of a free will and love for God. People are just afraid of going to hell and they are teaching other people fear and bondage instead of love and freedom. Bondage brings hatred, anger and unhappiness. It saddens me to see my brethren suffering and not enjoying Christianity. This week I encourage you to lighten up and stop judging everyone that comes your way. This week I encourage you to let go and let God be . Lets re-evaluate our Christianity, why are we Christians?
