With You

Matthew 28:20 "....lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world"

Jesus mentions that He is will always be with us. Always means all the time regardless of what you are doing or what is happening to you. In everything we do Jesus is always with us.

The verse Hebrews 13:8 "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." is different from I am with you always. The one in Hebrews 13 talks about the character of God. His character never changes. He will always remain the same.

Hebrews 13 however does not mean that God will always answer us the same way. It does not mean that He will always do things in our lives the same way. If He answered you a certain way in the past it does not mean He will answer you the same way in the future. If something bad happened to you in the past it does not mean that it will happen to you again. If something good happened to you in the past it does not mean it will happen again.

God promises us that He will always be with us. That is the promise He has given us. He never promised that He will always give us the same answer to every situation. Be encouraged to find out Gods answer for you today.

Overcome Fear

Fear is very cunning. I believe this is an enemy to mankind. We can believe all we want in our minds that we have no fear, however it goes beyond that. Believing in just in your mind is not enough. We have to believe in our heart. Take a moment and trully search your heart. If you have fear about something acknowledged it. If we do not acknowledge our fears we will never be able to overcome and move forward. We can never overcome what we don't acknowledged.

Behold a New Thing

The Lord continually wants to show us new things in our lives. He is not a static God. He wants our lives to improve. He wants us to mature and if we are not careful we miss Him and become stagnant. What is the new thing that God wants to do in your life? Talk to him and find out directly from Him. Do not look at the new things that are happening around you and just join because remember the majority is not always right. If you feel stagnant, make a change, don’t allow yourself to be boxed up, be brave and make that change. After making that change be careful not to move backwards ask God to give you the strength to move forward. The way you used to do things before will definitely try to pull you back. If you think you made a mistake and did not hear God then by all means admit you were wrong and seek God for your next step. Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the d...

Angry Unhappy Christians

Unfortunately its true, we do have angry and unhappy Christians. I always wonder why its like that. God promises us joy, peace and happiness and yet we still have a lot of angry unhappy Christians. I believe it’s time we re-evaluate our Christianity. Christianity is not supposed to be a bondage and a burden. It’s supposed to give us life in abundance. , We have a people who are Christians out of duty and not out of a free will and love for God. People are just afraid of going to hell and they are teaching other people fear and bondage instead of love and freedom. Bondage brings hatred, anger and unhappiness. It saddens me to see my brethren suffering and not enjoying Christianity. This week I encourage you to lighten up and stop judging everyone that comes your way. This week I encourage you to let go and let God be . Lets re-evaluate our Christianity, why are we Christians?
