Don't explain yourself

There are some things that only you can understand. There are things in life that people will never understand about you. Trying to explain yourself will not always work. Your life as an individual in very unique and sometimes trying to explain yourself will derail you.

People always have a plan for your life, parents have plans for their children, your friends have plans for your life, your boss has plans for your life and you spiritual leaders also have plans for your life. Unfortunately sometimes people will be disappointed about the way you are doing things.

Trying to explain what is happening in your life and the plans God has for you is not always helpful. People want answers that will suit them and unfortunately some answers are just not enough for people

This week I want to encourage you to keep quite, mind your business and work with your hands1 Thessalonians 4:11 “...and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life: You should mind your own business and work with your hands, just as we told you”

Remember what Jesus said Luke 12:52-53 “ From now on there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three. They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.”

Stop trying to explain yourself they will never understand you remember I am not talking about arrogance here, I am talking about humility and being able to allow God to prove you.

Fear is very cunning. I believe this is an enemy to mankind. We can believe all we want in our minds that we have no fear, however it goes beyond that. Believing in just in your mind is not enough. Behold a New Thing

The Lord continually wants to show us new things in our lives. He is not a static God. He wants our lives to improve. He wants us to mature and if we are not careful we miss Him and become stagnant. What is the new thing that God wants to do in your life? Talk to him and find out directly from Him. Do not look at the new things that are happening around you and just join because remember the majority is not always right. If you feel stagnant, make a change, don’t allow yourself to be boxed up, be brave and make that change. After making that change be careful not to move backwards ask God to give you the strength to move forward. The way you used to do things before will definitely try to pull you back. If you think you made a mistake and did not hear God then by all means admit you were wrong and seek God for your next step. Angry Unhappy Christians

Unfortunately its true, we do have angry and unhappy Christians. I always wonder why its like that. God promises us joy, peace and happiness and yet we still have a lot of angry unhappy Christians. I believe it’s time we re-evaluate our Christianity. Christianity is not supposed to be a bondage and a burden. It’s supposed to give us life in abundance. , We have a people who are Christians out of duty and not out of a free will and love for God. People are just afraid of going to hell and they are teaching other people fear and bondage instead of love and freedom. Bondage brings hatred, anger and unhappiness. It saddens me to see my brethren suffering and not enjoying Christianity. This week I encourage you to lighten up and stop judging everyone that comes your way. This week I encourage you to let go and let God be . Lets re-evaluate our Christianity, why are we Christians?
