Change

Change is all around us. The way the world is now, is totally different from the way it was 100-200 years ago. This is just one example of change. Things change and I believe God is teaching us something about change.

God is teaching us that as human beings we have the ability to change. We can change from good to bad or from bad to good. I believe in life we have seen people who have changed from Good to bad and those who have changed from bad to good. It takes a brave and strong person to change from bad to good but changing from from good to bad requires no effort at all.

Paul is an example of someone who changed from negative to positive. Paul used to kill and persecute people but he changed and became a very good apostle. Today I want to encourage people to change. Be a person who is always changing from negative to positive. Be brave and never allow fear to hinder you from positive change.

A key element in positive change is Jesus Christ. With our own effort it will be hard and impossible to maintain positive change. The Word of God encourages us "not by might nor by power but by my spirit". The Holy Spirit is available to change us from being negative to being positive. If there is something in your life that you think needs changing, put it before the Lord and allow Him to assist you. Blessings to you and enjoy the week.

Some two things I believe we need if we want to change are:

1. Teachable Spirit (not like Pharaoh who did not want to change)

2. Desire to change.

Fear is very cunning. I believe this is an enemy to mankind. We can believe all we want in our minds that we have no fear, however it goes beyond that. Believing in just in your mind is not enough. We have to believe in our heart. Take a moment and trully search your heart. If you have fear about something acknowledged it. Being Tried and Tested

I have made a lot of mistakes in my life and most of them have been caused by rushing into things. Don’t get me wrong I am happy and glad that my life turned out the way it did. I am glad that God never gives up on us (people) but continues to train them as long as we do not cut ourselves off. Spiritual matters are not supposed to be rushed into. There are a lot of trials and tests that we have to pass through before we can step into our spiritual calling. People will never really understand God’s path for us, and we as well do not understand the path that God has for us, He reveals it bit by bit because His thoughts and ways are higher than ours. God cannot be mocked and manipulated. God will never bend to our will but we are the ones who are supposed to surrender to His will. Behold a New Thing

The Lord continually wants to show us new things in our lives. He is not a static God. He wants our lives to improve. He wants us to mature and if we are not careful we miss Him and become stagnant. What is the new thing that God wants to do in your life? Talk to him and find out directly from Him. Do not look at the new things that are happening around you and just join because remember the majority is not always right. If you feel stagnant, make a change, don’t allow yourself to be boxed up, be brave and make that change. After making that change be careful not to move backwards ask God to give you the strength to move forward. The way you used to do things before will definitely try to pull you back.
