Choose your battles

In life we are continually faced with different battles and conflicts. If you are someone without a vision you will find that you fight each battle even if it’s not worth it. There are some battles that are worth fighting and some battles are just not worth it. It is so painful to see people wasting time fighting unnecessary battles.

This week I encourage you to pick your battles carefully. When you fight a battle look at the long term. Look also at the Word of God. If you fight battles that are not in line with the Word of God, it’s definitely not worth it. What will this battle benefit me in the future?

1 Corinthians 9:26-27

Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.

Unfortunately its true, we do have angry and unhappy Christians. I always wonder why its like that. God promises us joy, peace and happiness and yet we still have a lot of angry unhappy Christians. I believe it’s time we re-evaluate our Christianity. Christianity is not supposed to be a bondage and a burden. It’s supposed to give us life in abundance. , We have a people who are Christians out of duty and not out of a free will and love for God. People are just afraid of going to hell and they are teaching other people fear and bondage instead of love and freedom. Bondage brings hatred, anger and unhappiness. It saddens me to see my brethren suffering and not enjoying Christianity. This week I encourage you to lighten up and stop judging everyone that comes your way. This week I encourage you to let go and let God be . Lets re-evaluate our Christianity, why are we Christians?

Overcome Fear

Fear is very cunning. I believe this is an enemy to mankind. We can believe all we want in our minds that we have no fear, however it goes beyond that. Believing in just in your mind is not enough. We have to believe in our heart. Take a moment and trully search your heart. If you have fear about something acknowledged it. If we do not acknowledge our fears we will never be able to overcome and move forward. We can never overcome what we don't acknowledged.

He Protects

Ladies and gentleman, it is true. God does protect His own. If you desire protection from any force that may come against you, God is the answer. He is the one who constantly protects us. If we move ahead of God and never allow Him to surround us, we will definitely miss out on his protection. If you are a child of God I encourage you not to look for protection anywhere else but look for protection from our Father. We are safe under the shadow of His wings. Rest and be at peace knowing that God has got your back.
